About My Abstracts
My abstract style is layered with saturated colors, slashing brush strokes, and various textures. Movement is created by bold sweeps of color leaping across the surface. I let go of my concerns and let my creativity spill out onto the canvas. Nothing is static. I throw paint, I paint outside of the lines, I distort features. I probably break all the rules but I truly have fun! Mess, mess, mess... if I didn’t make a mess when I painted a piece nothing was accomplished!
I felt something deep within my soul when I painted all of these works; I hope you do too when you look at them!
